the lines between Alternative and Outlaw Country — Eastern Kentucky native, Scott Ryan, better known by his stage and recording name, Scott Ryan & The Devilish Folk, is a Lexington, KY based Singer/Songwriter. Currently he has released two albums — AppalachianBlood and SouthernDeathRide, as well as two EPs – More Devilish Things and Chapter 4 which are available on all Music Streaming Platforms.
Scott’s music is best described as thought-provoking and paints a lonely, but intriguing picture of a haunted landscape intertwined with his rural upbringings, full of inner demons and the personal struggles that come with them. With his own unique twists and turns he takes you on an endless journey down the darker highways of the south, sharing his stories of backwoods devils, addiction and countless tales of lonely, unmarked graves and the murderous lovers who dug them.
